Lake Baringo in the Great Rift Valley

Small and secluded, this little piece of paradise is situated on Ol Kokowa Island in Lake Baringo, only three hours of tarmac roads from Nairobi Acess to the Island Camp is only by boat,driven by experienced boatmen. Parking, shade and security are provided for the vehicles left on the mainlandm while porters are avilable to assist you in transfering your luggage to the boats. Island Camp is informal, relaying, and surrounded by spectacular scenery.

Accomodation is in 23 double tents, with ensuite bathroom, set under spreading acacia trees. At the Pinnacle if the camo os the crystal clear swimming pool, with a stunning outlook across to "Gibraltar" island and across the Rift Valley.
