Living with the Maasai
Maasai Simba Camp

Maasai Simba Camp is located in Merrueshi Group Ranch
Merrueshi is a wildlife corridor between Amboseli and Chulu hills National Parks.

It is only 30 minutes away from Amboseli National Park.

Giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, eland, Kudu, warthogs, gazelles, impala, and over 400 species of birds are common in the area.

The Maasai know this land in a way no one else does and they interpret everything from
footprints, animal droppings, animal noises, herbal medicine, and more.

Maasai Simba Camp has 10 bandas (cabin) made of volcanic rocks.
The bandas are spacious and enjoy total privacy.
Each banda can accommodate two people.
This is an eco-camp powered with a reliable solar power unit.

The time in the village will be very flexible and relaxing, yet full of learning experience.

Maasai Simba Camp is all about cultural experience and walking safari.

Activities includes: daily walking safari, bead -making lessons facilitated by Maasai
Women Co-operatives, village tour, school tour, storytelling sessions, formal conversations
on leadership and change by Maasai elders around the bonfire, and a vibrant Maasai
warrior dance held at the night before departure.

Guests will also have a chance to go on a bird watching tour with English speaking guides.
Every morning starts with a safari walk.
This is an invigorating unique experience not offered else where in Kenya.
The program is well organized and the guests are never bored.
This program is ideal for people interested for experience beyond a typical safari.
A minimum of two consecutive nights is suggested in order for guests to get the most out of their visit.
